An MyCompany Compliance authorized Practical Examiner administers
the practical (hands on) exam for certification.

Practical Examiners play a critical role in ensuring that the practical (hands on) component of our certification exams are administered in a fair, valid, safe, and reliable manner. An MyCompany Compliance authorized Practical Examiner works closely with the Test Coordinators to ensure a smooth and secure certification process for all candidates.

A Practical Examiner is responsible for administering the Practical exams.

Among these responsibilities are:

  • Ensuring safety at the exam site
  • Candidate sign-in and confirmation
  • Proper and test course setup
  • Ensuring used for testing are in proper working order
  • Practical exam administration
  • Submitting the exam results to MyCompany Compliance in a timely fashion

Eligibility Requirements for Practical Examiners

How to become an authorized Practical Examiner with MyCompany compliance?

Only authorized MyCompany Compliance Practical Examiners may administer the practical portion of our exams. To become a Practical Examiner you must:

Maintain Authorized Status as a Practical Examiner

As the program is updated, MyCompany Compliance may periodically require you to attend a brief webinar or read a short document about the program updates. You will be required to adhere to all new policies and/or procedures. Practical Examiner authorization is valid for a period of five years.

Brief overview of a Practical Examiners duties:

  • Get preconfigured exam tablet from the Test Coordinator
  • Set up and course according to CAD drawing
  • Check candidate in
  • Give instructions
  • Hand candidate your tablet for shift inspection, load chart, shut down & securing procedures exam.
  • Familiarization period then administer maneuvering skills tests
  • Establish internet connection & send results or continue testing more candidates.
